About Wali’s Talk

Wali’s Talk is a practical tech help site. We write clear, step-by-step guides for the everyday problems people actually run into with their phones, apps and computers, and keep them up to date as those apps change.

Who’s behind Wali’s Talk

Wali, founder of Wali's Talk

I’m Wali, a digital marketer based in Bangladesh and the founder of Wali’s Talk. I’ve been using and troubleshooting WhatsApp, Android and Windows for about eight years, and I’ve followed AI tools closely since they went mainstream. Wali’s Talk started from the questions friends, family and clients kept asking me: why the WhatsApp Web code won’t scan, where the phone storage went, whether ChatGPT Plus is worth paying for.

My aim is simple: when you land on a Wali’s Talk guide, you should get the answer in the first few lines, and the full steps right after, without having to read through filler.

What we cover

  • Apps & Messaging: WhatsApp, Gmail, Spotify, TikTok and the everyday apps people rely on, from logging in to backups and privacy.
  • AI Tools: honest, hands-on guides to ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot and other AI tools, especially what you get for free.
  • Fixes & Troubleshooting: solutions to common iPhone, Android, Windows, Mac and Chromebook problems.

How we write and check our guides

Every guide follows the same process:

  1. Start from a real question. We write about problems people actually search for, and answer the question in the first lines.
  2. Check against official sources. Steps, menu names and limits are checked against the official help pages of Apple, Google, Microsoft, Meta, OpenAI and other makers, plus recent reporting from trusted tech sites.
  3. Show our sources. Each guide ends with a Sources list linking to the pages we checked, so you can verify the details yourself.
  4. Say what it applies to. An Applies to line near the top says which devices, versions and month the guide was checked for.
  5. Say what doesn’t work. If a fix only works sometimes, a feature is still rolling out, or something can’t be done, we say so rather than promising the impossible.
  6. Keep it updated. Apps change every few months. When they do, we update the guide and the date at the top.

How we use AI

We’re open about our tools. Some articles are researched and drafted with the help of AI tools. Every article is then fact-checked against the sources listed at the bottom and reviewed before it’s published. We never invent test results, quotes or reviews.

Independence

We don’t publish sponsored posts or paid reviews, and no company pays us to cover its products. If the site shows ads, advertisers have no say over what we write. Read our affiliate disclosure and privacy policy for details.
